Deck Extension and Outdoor Seating

As soon as our team received the request to increase the outdoor living space, we knew we had to come up with a plan that was not only functional but aesthetically pleasing as well. The first step was to assess the area and brainstorm some creative solutions.



After careful consideration, our team designed and constructed an expansion to the deck, seamlessly integrating it with the client's existing outdoor space. The newly extended deck served as a seamless transition point from the house to the outdoors, enhancing the flow and creating a sense of continuity. This gave the family more space to entertain guests and enjoy their surroundings. The extension also added to the overall ambiance of the space, making it more welcoming and relaxing.

Next, we decided to lay turf in the designated area to create a new soft and lush surface. The new turf would also create an even more visually appealing outdoor living space, with incorporated plants along the fence line and garden lighting. We built custom seating that would provide ample space for friends and family to sit and relax. The seating was designed with a sleek, modern look, made of high-quality materials that could withstand harsh weather conditions. Adding the exposed aggregate concrete gave an opportunity to include a fire pit. This one-of-a-kind seating option became the go-to spot for savouring morning coffee, relaxing with a good book, or enjoying the ambience from the fire on those cooler nights.
